This is my story. Me experience. My revelation.
I hope that you will ask God to shine His light on the subject, and give you personal revelation.
I am not saying tattoos are sin and I am not saying they are not, I am just sharing my knowledge.
I was 18 years old when I got my first tattoos. I got a little star on my bikini line. And a star on my back, with my initials in the middle. The day I got them these were the thoughts and circumstances.
Just got out of a long term relationship that I thought would last forever. Just turned old enough to make my own decisions. I had a very rebellious spirit. So with that in mind and thinking to myself that I would never again belong to any man, I got the letter CK tattooed. My name. My surname.
Years later, as my marriage was about to fall completely apart, the Holy Spirit reminded me of these words. He showed me the life that I had spoken into these words.
I share this with you because I want you to take a clear look at the circumstances and reasons for why you want to get a tattoo. Be careful and vigilant about the thoughts and words you link to a tattoo. Whether it is scripture, a flower, your dead fathers birthday, or a skull. Be careful.
So when I did a little research on tattoos I came across an interesting study. They pointed out two things.
1. The average person who get one or two tattoos choose to get them in hidden places, not easily seen places on their body. And ..
2. People get tattoos on body parts with sexual connections for example the bikini line
Now this in a whole other study, and I urge you to look into it, but if you did not know it is not only your genitals that have sexual connections.
Now the question is why? Only the enemy operates in the darkness and in hidden places. God operates in the light where every one can see everything. And what does that tattoos have to do with sexual spirits? Sexual spirits is one of the most common struggles people have to deal with and fight with.So are you making the connection there.
Then I learned another interesting thing. If you are uninformed on curses, bonds, ect I really urge you to go look into it. A blood bond is very much like a soul tie. all the bad baggage from the other person gets passed on to you.
Now whether you believe it or not when you get a tattoo you enter a blood bond with the person giving you a tattoo. Bound forever in spirit.
Another revelation came after hearing Arthur Bruke's teaching with the name: Your spirit and surgery. Wherever blood is spilled, bad spirits gather. Open flesh is easy access for wandering spirits.
Did you know that spirits communicate, good and bad ones. even when your flesh can be totally unaware of it. Now you and your spirit walk into the tattoo parlor a cesspool of evil wandering spirits.. P.s your tattoo artist might be saved, he might even go to church with you.
These spirits will most likely attack your spirit. God's word says our fight is not in flesh but in spirit. They will intimidate, bully, and most probably overtake your spirit, and enter you.
Now you sit with a wandering spirit of whatever (financial struggle, broken relationship, unforgiveness, addiction, sexual) that will manifest somewhere in your life, stealing, destroying, killing, and you are now in blood bond with Joe Ink your tattoo artist, with all his spirits, demons and problems.
Channels and doors you didn't even know excited has now been knocked down and ripped open. Bad spirits can move in and out freely. Some will stay and manifest themselves. All the while your flesh is unaware but most probably you have started to experience the manifestation and problems in your every day life.
I am not going to add scripture today, because people have twisted and turned God's word in favor off and against tattoos. And we ask that God will shine His light on the matter, and give personal revelation to those who seek it.
NOW THERE ARE TWO OUTCOMES
1. You already got a tattoo, tattoos ...
You need to go to the court of Heaven before the Most High judge, our God. You need to petition the annulment of the blood bond between you and the tattoo artist. Just repenting is not enough. Only God can break that bond, and it needs to be broken.
You must also beg God to close the doors and channels. Ask him to send His Son and Spirit, to the deepest darkest places of your heart, mind and soul, and evict any and all spirits/demons that came with this bond. Pray for a vigilant spirit that can spot any unwanted guest that entered on the day you got your tattoo.
2. Even after countless debates and discussions and sermons and articles, no one will change your mind, you are getting a tattoo ....
Do it. But prepare your spirit before you go. Give your spirit the authority to announce you as a child of God, give your spirit the authority and power (through prayer and word) to tell any and all spirits to back off. Make sure your spirit is strong, vigilant and ready to fight for you.
LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE EVEN IN DARKEST OF PLACES ALMIGHTY GOD.
