Through out your life people will hurt and disappoint you. There are endless reasons as to why and I pray that the Holy Spirit will grant you revelation, but this post is about how we react to hurt.
Hurt alone is unpleasant, and off course with it can come a whole lot of other feelings. Offence, anger, hate, unforgiveness and many more.
When we feel like this our common next step in to seek comfort. Some seek comfort in people, places, things, substances, or whatever.
But there are only really two comforters, the true comforter Jesus Christ and the false comforter, Satan.
Jesus brings us Gods word. Filled with promises of healing and restoration. Joy after suffering.
Satan also brings promises of something better, but it is candy coated lies.
People will be people and the enemy will always look for ways and gaps to attack. Dont give him the satisfaction of then running into his arms. Only destruction and darkness lies ahead.
Learn to forgive and let go. Go sit at the feet of Jesus and cry your heart out. But then get up and show the enemy that you will not be detroyed by your emotions.
Judgement will come on us all. Let the ultimate judge our Lord God deal with those who hurt and destroy others.
