10 years ago I didn't believe in modesty. I owned the best push up bra and bought jeans a size too small just so it can sit perfectly tight. The cosmo was my bible and I worshiped celebreties.
Thank goodness my past has been forgiven. My eyes have been opened and I have been set free.
Being a mother put allot of things in perspective. I cannot for one moment even stand the thought of any man or boy or whatever looking at my girls with anything except godly intensions.
The enemy is more out of control than ever and he is using our own bodies against us.
The word says sin commited in the mind is sin commited in the heart. We might only think it in flesh but who knows if we are doing it in spirit. Now think about the sin men are commiting in their minds to you and your daughters and then you decide if you want to play with that fire.

If He was with us in person today, our own personal image consultant, would He be saying pull down that top, lift your boobs more, make that dress shorter show more skin?!
But it is fashion. Everyone does it. Its just a trend. Its in style .... Romans 12:2 Do not conform to this world.
Stand out. Be different. Be the light. Be what is right.
1 Peter 3:4 Teaches us that inner beauty is what is most important.
Romans 7:5 unmodesty is like bearing fruit of death.

Mothers, what example are you setting for your children. Does she see modesty and grace and love in you. Or is she wondering about seeking attention? Plant the seed of modesty while they are young. Pray for conviction in their hearts. And while you still can, guide them towards a Christ-like life and wardrobe.
